California Hunting Digest

Two popular DFG publications, Tracks and Wingbeat News, have merged into a new statewide magazine called "California Hunting Digest."

The new magazine will still be published quarterly, and it will still be free to hunters. But its content has expanded to include all game species in California . It is THE definitive source for California hunters, providing species forecasts; information about special hunts, applications and instructions; DFG contact information; where to hunt on public land; and other news and information hunters need to plan their hunts in California .

Issues will be published as follows:

• Winter CHD, Upland Game Hunting, Circulation: 45,000
• Spring CHD, Big Game Hunting, Circulation: 200,000
• Summer CHD, Upland Game Hunting, Circulation: 45,000
• Fall CHD, Upland Game/Waterfowl Hunting, Circulation: 45,000
